Essi Johanna Glomb is a researcher and designer based in Berlin. Educated as a textile and surface designer at weißensee academy of art berlin she graduated with an MA in 2017.

In 2013 she founded Studio Blond & Bieber, a conceptual design studio together with product designer Rasa Weber.

Since 2017 she is a researcher working on the future on innovative textiles in the research project Textile Prototyping Lab funded by the Ministry of Education and Research. Additionally she is teaching at weißensee academy of art berlin.

Currently Essi Johanna Glomb also works on self-initiated design projects at the intersection of art, design and science.
